Help:Areas of Expertise

Users can define their Areas of Expertise so that other users can find them in the Expert Directory.

Why should I define my Areas of Expertise?

Users can search the Expert Directory for experts with knowledge in a given subject area or experience in a geographic region.
Portal pages provide a list of experts for the given subject area.

Log in
Click on your username (upper right corner of screen)
On your user page, click "Edit with Form"
On the form, specify your areas of expertise (separated by commas)
Click "Save page". You should now see your areas of expertise listed in your infobox.
Categorize pages relevant to your area of expertise using the special wiki syntax "Category:" followed by the area of expertise.
